FAQ

A good day on the water is even better with a little preparation. Here's some info to make sure your charter goes smoothly.

What to bring

This can differ from charter to charter, but there are always some essentials. Sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat can help protect you from that Florida sun. As for the fun stuff, feel free to bring any beverages you like. We have a wine opener and cups aboard. Also any snacks or food you might like. Just keep in mind it may be windy so that bag of popcorn may not be the best bet.

What to wear

Depending on the wind it can feel much cooler on the water than on land. Its nice to have an extra layer handy to both block the sun or stay warm if need be. Shoes are allowed, but also feel free to leave them at the dock and hop on barefoot if it strikes you.

Bathroom

Yes, there is a bathroom aboard the boat as well as one near the boat slip for your convenience.

Dogs

Well behaved pooches are welcome on private charters. Keep in mind 6 people is the max room for the boat so, depending on your dog, room could be tight. Also sailing is not for all pups. Heeling over and splashing through the waves doesn't always sit right with them and we can't give a refund if Fido wants to go in early.

Cancellation Policy

If for any reason your trip is cancelled by the captain do to weather or other circumstances you will be given a full refund. Cancel within 48hrs for a full refund. Cancel within 24hrs for a half refund.

Gratuity

Though not at all mandatory, it is customary to tip your captain on a successful trip. Generally this is around 10 to 20 percent of your charter. It is a way of showing your gratitude of braving the wild ocean and the captain ensuring your safety. Whatever you feel is proper is totally fine.
